Future Events - 2009

Our outreach services consist of health educaton and health screenings such as Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar and Cholesterol. Screenings are performed by health care professionals such as Registered Nurses and Emergency Medical Technicians. We have several confirmed upcoming events, which will occur between now and December 2009. Please see the list below indicating our past events and visit us again real soon for updates.

Once again we have been invited to particpate in First Baptist of Glendarden's annual Health Expo. We will provide patient education, peform cholesterol and blood sugar screenings. We are looking forward in being a part of this event aiming towards promoting healthy lifestyles.

|
We participated in several Church & Community Health Expo's within the Washington Metropolitan area in 2009, 2008, 2007, & 2006, providing health education and over 800 screenings such as blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar.

|
We participated in the US Senate Employee Health Fair in October 2008, 2007 and October 2006, providing over 700 screenings such as Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar and Cholesterol. Health education was provided and the event was a great success, aiming towards promoting healthly lifestyles. We are looking forward in our continued partnership with the US Senate.

July 2005 & 2006
|
|
We participated in the 2005 and 2006 Kettering/Largo/Mitchellville Community Day & Health Fair. Free health screenings such as blood sugar and blood pressure screenings were provided. Free patient education literature on Cardiovascular Diseases, Diabetes, Stroke and hypertenson were distributed. Our patient education materials also included free givaways and medical fact sheets.

We participated in the November 2005 Higher Calling Christian Ministries Family Conference. The focus was on Preventive Health Care and the topic presented was "Living Long & Being Strong".

We participated in the NBC4 Health Expo for four consecutive years (2009, 2008, 2007, & 2006), providing over 1000 total screenings such as blood pressure, cholestrol, glucose and health education. Each event was a great success aiming towards our goal of promoting health lifestyles.
We participated in the Family Health & Caregiver Expo at the Washington Convention Center. We provided over 400+ free health screenings such as blood sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure.
